The Blaisdell is a Georgian mansion built in 1915 and situated in the Washburn-Fair Oaks Historic District of South Minneapolis. The venue has anchored the local bridal community since the 1930s; a ballroom addition followed in the 1950s, and comprehensive renovations completed in 2017 brought the property to its current form under new ownership. The interior pairs century-old character with a modern event canvas. Soaring 18-foot ceilings, skylights, a traditional front parlor, and a subterranean lounge with a custom bar define the building's distinct personality, while the grand ballroom offers an endlessly customizable layout for events of up to 225 seated guests.
