Marble House was the scene of both elaborate balls and rallies to raise funds for the women’s suffrage movement. The Lobster Bar is a waterfront seafood restaurant on Bowens Wharf in Newport, Rhode Island, occupying the site once home to the Aquidneck Lobster Company. The space carries forward that history, aiming for the same sense of community that made the original wholesale fish market a neighborhood staple. The dining room is built around harbor views, with floor-to-ceiling windows, sliding doors, and dockside air just beyond the room. Hardwood floors, a statement bar, and a separate raw bar anchor the space, while both indoor and outdoor seating let guests choose between open-air harbor light and airy indoor dining. The Lobster Bar hosts birthday parties, rehearsal dinners, corporate events, and other private gatherings, pairing its waterfront setting with a full menu of seafood, craft cocktails, wine, and beer.

The Valiant is a 97-foot yacht operated by Charles River Boat Company, a family-run business that has cruised Boston Harbor and the Charles River since 1990. Departing from Rowes Wharf, with alternate dockage available on request, the Valiant carries guests along the water for weddings, cocktail receptions, and celebratory gatherings such as birthdays and reunions. Aboard, a traditional salon area with a full bar connects to a wicker-furnished fantail, while an extended bow offers a spot for photography and harbor views. An upper canopy deck provides additional open-air space for a celebration. The yacht seats 10 to 60 guests for a seated meal and holds up to 120 for a cocktail-style reception. Each charter includes two full-service bars stocked with beer, wine, spirits, and custom glassware, along with top-shelf and custom wine and champagne selections. Clients can add DJs, live music, games, or tour narration, and the crew works with each group to shape the cruise around their event.

Events can range from an intimate cocktail party with passed hors d'oeuvres to a large-scale celebration, with a private events menu and catering packages available for groups of any size. Live music plays every day the restaurant is open, with DJs taking over Friday and Saturday nights, giving The Landing a lively waterfront atmosphere that carries from dinner service into the evening.

Weddings at Blithewold take place in the beautiful North Garden, which is close to the Mansion. Following the ceremony, cocktails are served on the terraces and two covered porches of the magnificent turn-of-the-century Mansion, which overlooks the Great Lawn and its sweeping sunset views of Narragansett Bay. Guests can roam through the gardens and explore the property throughout the cocktail party and reception, exactly as they have for the previous century at Blithewold. Your guests will be escorted to our white 40' x 100' Century Wedding Tent and newly constructed wedding pavilion for dinner and dancing. The tent is near to our Linden Grove and has a great view of the Great Lawn. The freshly built wedding pavilion has handicapped-accessible facilities and a gorgeous, stunning bridal suite. We only allow one wedding each day to provide the most comfort, enjoyment, and personalization for your wedding. Year-round, a wedding ceremony-only package is also offered.

Newport Car Museum occupies an 80,000-square-foot former missile manufacturing facility on seven acres in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, where it has displayed a private collection of more than 100 automobiles since opening in 2017. The collection spans eight decades of modern industrial automotive design, from the 1950s to the present, organized into curated galleries for Ford/Shelby cars, Corvettes, World Cars, Porsches, Fin Cars, Muscle Cars, and Mopars. Mid-Century modern furniture is displayed throughout the galleries alongside the cars, extending the museum's design focus beyond the automobiles themselves. For private events, the museum's Wheel Room offers an 1,800-square-foot multipurpose space that accommodates up to 100 guests in conference or social-style configurations, equipped with audio/visual capabilities and set against the backdrop of the museum's automotive and Mid-Century furniture collections. The bright, airy indoor event space handles dining, while the expansive 54-by-66-foot deck overlooking the beach is where ceremonies, cocktail hours, and dancing take place. Couples typically exchange vows at the edge of the deck with the ocean as a backdrop, then head down to the beach afterward for photos. Renters at North Beach Clubhouse partner with one of the venue's pre-qualified caterers, while remaining free to choose their own photographers, florists, entertainers, and bakers.

The Bungalow, inspired by East Indian architectural styles—a nod to Kinney’s early years as a sailor—was originally designed to host lavish parties, particularly after polo matches. Today, this timeless venue offers a perfect blend of history and elegance, making it an exceptional choice for your wedding day. Nestled on a 140-acre working farm, Kinney Bungalow sets a new standard for simple yet sophisticated celebrations. The eighteenth-century design features impressive 20-foot-high ceilings, original cypress wood panel walls, and expansive eight-foot by seven-foot windows that wrap around the second-floor grand hall, providing sweeping views of the farm and breathtaking sunsets. Potowomut Golf Club has been a fixture of Rhode Island golf since 1927, when a group of golfers built a private course on rolling terrain near Narragansett Bay, in the Potowomut section of Warwick. The 18-hole, par-71 course was designed by Walter Johnson, a disciple of architect Donald Ross, and has been carefully restored over the decades while staying true to its founding character: small, fast greens and a walking tradition that rewards strategy over length. While membership defines daily play at Potowomut, the club opens its course and clubhouse to non-members for weddings, corporate golf outings, and private celebrations. Golf outings get full course access with shotgun starts or tee times, practice facilities, and professional starter and ranger support, while receptions and dinners move into the clubhouse private dining room and patio, which overlooks the 18th green. Catering is handled in-house, with menus customized for each event and full bar service available, and every event is guided by a dedicated event coordinator from proposal through event day.
