Chicago Theater Works is available for rental and is the perfect venue for a unique event. We love parties, fundraisers, film screenings, wedding receptions, corporate off-site and more… Our facility can accommodate up to 180 for a sit-down dinner, play, recital, screening… to 200+ for a stand-up reception. ​ Furnishings: We have 220 black banquet chairs, six 24” rounds, twenty 48” rounds, six 60” rounds, a buffet table and several 6’ tables and two high-tops. We also have six sections of 12’ pipe with black drape. ​ Food and Beverage: Northshore Catering is our in-house caterer and they are amazing. You are welcome to work with them or bring in your own food. For catering we have a staging kitchen with 3-compartment sink, commercial refrigerator, ice maker, convection oven, microwave and stainless prep table. There is an extra charge for using the kitchen. We require that all beverage be purchased through our full bar. Our prices range from $3 for soft drinks, $6 to 8 for beer, $7 to 9 for spirits and $6 to 9 for wine. We can do a host bar or cash or credit for guests. Sound, Lights, Stage and Tech: The space features a 16’ x 10’ stage with a simple light plot, board and spotlight. We have video projection capabilities and a wide format screen. We also have several wired and wireless microphones and a plug in play sound system. The venue also has wifi. Depending on the extent of your tech needs there may be an extra charge to have our tech person on-site. Location: We are located in Lakeview on Belmont between Sheffield and Racine. We are two blocks east of the Red, Brown and Purple lines. We are also on multiple 27/7 bus routes. A nearby parking lot is available for an extra charge. The venue has two large bathrooms and two private, unisex bathrooms. There is also a dressing room with iron, steamer, washer and dryer. We always have a staff member and, if needed, bartender available for your event.

Café Lucci fuses inventive cuisine, mindfully-sourced fresh ingredients, an award winning wine program, and impeccable service for a sophisticated, yet comfortable dining experience. Bobby, a wine connoisseur, is in charge of dining room service and the wine program at Café Lucci. His experience in restaurants dates back to 1985 when he worked at Ristorante Agostino. Augie, also known as “The Mad Chef”, is a self-taught chef who joined Bobby at Ristorante Agostino in 1986. His cooking style can be characterized as Italian eclectic, with a wonderful variety of dishes from many regions of Italy. Throughout his travels, he has also infused pan-mediterranean, American, and French influences into his menu. Café Lucci’s beautiful banquet room accommodates groups of 30 to 60, providing an ideal setting for intimate luncheons, elegant evening entertaining or business functions. Antiquaire started in 2007 as an importer of Exquisite European Antiques, & has evolved into a multi-faceted, cutting-edge eclectic design business. Antiquaire is the only US company to import the entire line of the authentic & iconic Tolix chairs from the South of France. In 2011, Antiquaire started Melissa Edelman Design (MED) - a bespoke kitchen cabinetry designer & manufacturer and General Contractor. MED has the unique ability to use an antique piece such as an old shop counter, and modify it to modern standards as a functional kitchen island complete with soft close drawers. Antiquaire has also partnered with Arte Italica fine Italian dinnerware which is a perfect fit for wedding registries. MED has designed for the Lake Forest Showhouse, Chicago Magazine's Chairs for Charity, DIFFA/Chicago's Dining by Design & even special outdoor events at Ravinia Music Festival. In each instance MED has been able to show off their unique talent for table displays and event design. In 2015, the shop next door to Antiquaire became available, & MED started rehab on the unrenovated store interior located in the historically significant building by Architect John van Bergen. The renovation was at first to be used to showcase MED's kitchen designs. The renovation turned out far better than anyone could have imagined. They found huge old beams under two layers of crumbling ceilings, restored them & allowed them to be exposed for the first time in almost 100 years! They also dug up more than 6 layers of built up flooring to find the original maple hardwood floors. After painstaking restoration, the gorgeous dark stained maple floors are exposed. In combination with the beams, high transom black glossy windows, exposed stainless steel duct work, the MED space is very unique for an event space on the North Shore. It has the lofty feeling of places one may only find in downtown Chicago. The space is warm & charming & very visually appealing. The brand new bathroom boasts a magically floating concrete shelf with an original carved marble sink from Turkey and sparkling new modern nickel finished faucets. A French Trumeau mirror grazes the high ceiling over the sink, & a vintage chandelier adds extra glamour for viewing oneself in the full length antique mirror. Back at Antiquaire, there is a brand new full gourmet kitchen available to use complete with a Wolf 60" gas range & double ovens, a 36" SubZero Refrigerator with drinking water supply, two freezer drawers & ice maker. Don't forget the Wolf coffee & cappuccino machine! The kitchen is stunning with MED's bespoke cabinetry & gold "leafed" back splash, & silver leafed ceiling hiding behind the huge chandelier over the island. You may never want to leave!
