Flourtown Country Club is a historic Philadelphia-area property known as the region's only farm-to-table country club, with catering handled by its exclusive partner, Seedling and Sage. Inside, the clubhouse retains original touches like a fireplace, French doors, exposed stone, crown molding, and original hardwood floors, giving the space a vintage-chic character alongside its more recently renovated interiors. The club's 6,000-square-foot Ballroom opens through double French doors onto the Tented Veranda, a 3,600-square-foot stone patio outfitted with ambient market lighting, rattan chandeliers, and a 20-foot built-in oak bar. Grey Towers Castle sits at the heart of Arcadia University's 76-acre campus in Glenside, Pennsylvania, just 12 miles north of Center City Philadelphia. Built in 1898 as the family home of sugar baron William Welsh Harrison, the Castle was designed by architect Horace Trumbauer, who drew inspiration from England's Alnwick Castle and later designed the Philadelphia Museum of Art. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1985 and has been named among the most beautiful castles in the U.S. by Architectural Digest. Weddings and private events unfold across the first floor of the Castle, where guests enter the three-story Great Hall beneath a gilded, barrel-vaulted ceiling before moving into the Dining, Rose, and Laura Minerva Korman Mirror rooms. The Mirror Room was crafted in France and features a painted ceiling by Francois Lafon depicting the four seasons, while the Rose Room reflects the ornamentation of Louis XV-era architecture. The NSCDA/PA Headquarters House occupies a Colonial Revival building at 1630 Latimer Street in downtown Philadelphia, designed by the architectural firm Ritter and Shay and completed in 1923 as the home of the National Society of The Colonial Dames of America in Pennsylvania. The landscaped garden surrounding the house was designed by Marion Coffin, one of the first female landscape architects in the United States, and remains a four-season setting for outdoor ceremonies. Beyond its role as the Society's headquarters, the house functions as a private event venue, hosting weddings, corporate events, and other private gatherings for up to 120 guests. Smaller downstairs rooms, including the Drawing Room, Dining Room, and Loggia sunporch, suit more intimate gatherings, while the second-floor Ballroom, with its own built-in stage, accommodates the venue's larger receptions and is the only space where dancing is permitted. Set on the second-highest peak in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Drumore Estate is a 66-acre private estate built in 1938 for newspaper magnate John F. Steinman and designed by architect Robert R. McGoodwin as a 16,000-square-foot Georgian mansion. The grounds include manicured lawns, formal gardens, woodlands, fountains, and pools, with views stretching across the Susquehanna River Valley — a setting couples often choose for both ceremony and portraits. The estate offers several event spaces to suit different celebrations. The formal garden serves as the setting most couples choose for their ceremony, with the Grand Tent, Carriage House, and Ballroom as climate-controlled or covered alternatives for a reception, dance floor, or backup ceremony space. The Grand Tent accommodates up to 400 guests and is typically available from mid-April through mid-November, while the Carriage House and Ballroom provide year-round, climate-controlled options for smaller weddings and events. A fully-furnished bridal suite and groom's lounge inside the mansion give the wedding party a place to prepare on the day of the event. Drumore Estate provides full-service, in-house catering along with an Event Planner/Facilitator and Event Manager who assist with menu selection, layout, and vendor coordination, and who handle setup and teardown.
