Worsell Manor is a historic estate in Warwick, Maryland, built on land first surveyed in 1683 for Major Peter Sayer near the Bohemia River. The property — recognized by architectural historians as one of the finest remaining early Georgian houses in Cecil County — spans 50 acres of manicured grounds and gardens in the mid-Atlantic region, easily reachable from Philadelphia, Wilmington, Baltimore, Annapolis, and Washington D.C. The main reception space is a high-ceilinged barn positioned beside a wooded glen and the Manor fountain garden, accommodating up to 200 guests. The 1683 Manor House itself offers a brick-floored sun porch overlooking the grounds, multiple fireplaces, tall windows, and a state-of-the-art kitchen and bar room. Four bedrooms on the second floor and two on the third floor make the Manor available for bridal party accommodations and extended-weekend stays. Spring Hill Manor is a restored 1844 barn venue set on a scenic property in Rising Sun, Maryland, in the northeastern corner of the state. The barn's hand-hewn beams and antique décor establish a rustic elegance that pairs naturally with the surrounding country landscape — gardens, stone-path ceremony spaces, an arbor, and a pond overlook that draws photographers and guests alike. The venue hosts barn weddings, receptions, and special events with a maximum of 150 guests, and is available on select weekends from September through October. Every event is held exclusively — the full property is devoted to a single celebration on each event day. Owner Jamie Sherrard manages the event on-site, assisting with setup, coordinating with vendors, and overseeing cleanup. Couples bring their own caterer, entertainment, and florist, giving them full flexibility to shape the day. Outdoor ceremonies can move indoors if weather requires, and the fire pit and wood-burning fireplace offer additional gathering spots as the season cools.

Old York Road Country Club is a private club in Spring House, Pennsylvania, set on 128 acres of Montgomery County countryside and open to the public for weddings, showers, rehearsal dinners, corporate meetings, and other private events. Founded in 1910 in Jenkintown, the club relocated in 1963 to its current property, centered on a historic Manor House dating back to 1775, complete with original stone fireplaces. The attached Ballroom, updated in 2018 with adjustable lighting, a new tiled ceiling, and an integrated dance floor, seats up to 90 guests as the York Room alone or up to 150–180 guests when combined with the adjoining Grill Room. A covered, redone terrace runs the length of the Manor House overlooking the 18th green, with an open grotto featuring patio furniture and firepits. For ceremonies, the club offers a landscaped outdoor courtyard as well as the terrace, both just steps from the clubhouse. Smaller gatherings can be hosted in the Blue Room, a private dining room for about 20 guests in the original Manor House, or the Tip Room, seating up to 35. Wedding packages include a cocktail hour with butlered hors d'oeuvres, a champagne toast, a three-course meal, and a premium open bar. A bridal suite on the clubhouse's second floor is available to the wedding party ahead of the ceremony, and the club's grounds and tree-lined drive offer additional settings for photos.

    • 1 Historic Space

The Figure 8 Barn sits on the grounds of Bellevue State Park, a 271-acre former DuPont family estate tucked into suburban Wilmington, Delaware. The barn takes its name from its distinctive hourglass shape — an architectural curiosity designed by William du Pont, Jr. as an indoor horse training facility for the family's equestrian interests. Delaware acquired the estate in 1976, and the barn has since become one of the region's most flexible large-event venues. The barn's 32,000 square feet of open space can accommodate more than 3,000 guests and can be divided for more intimate gatherings. A raised dance floor and stage anchor the main floor, while large bay doors provide easy access for oversized equipment, themed installations, and trade show displays. A long hallway running through the structure offers a blank canvas for creative décor. The Figure 8 Barn hosts weddings, festivals, trade shows, conferences, reunions, and celebrations of all types.
