This historic landmark property has served as a residence for more than thirty United States Naval Admirals and their families over the course of its history. It has been used to formally entertain government officials, military officials, foreign dignitaries, and members of royal families in the past. On the waterfront of Pier 91 in Seattle, the United States Navy constructed a house and surrounding property in 1944 to serve as the official residence of the Admirals of the 13th Naval District. The house is on the National Register of Historic Places, which means it has historical significance. Bring your vision to life in My Little White House, an ideal setting for styled shoots, portrait photography, and other intimate events in addition to other possibilities. My Little White House is a 170 square foot boutique up-cycled studio that is located in a private garden in the West Seattle neighborhood of West Seattle. It was built primarily out of salvaged materials and vintage finds. The Little White House is a little studio that I built out of reclaimed materials and things that I found in dumpsters. It is 170 square feet in size. I didn't even consider constructing a white house or a small house when I came up with the idea. Simply put, I desired a location where I could build a fire during the colder months... Initially, it was only 10 feet by 10 feet, but over time, it expanded, the ceilings got higher, and it evolved into what it is today... People are drawn to the White House, in my opinion, due to the fact that a lot of its furnishings were salvaged from dumpsters or were things that previous owners had thrown away because they no longer wanted them. I believe that the Little White House breathes new life into all of those things in some sense... At the very least, that is what compelled me to construct it. It was the concept of turning things that were thrown away into something attractive and intriguing by giving them a second life in the form of something else entirely.

The Seattle Tennis Club can be found in the quaint neighborhood of Madison Park. The Ederer Building, which has a rich history, is where you'll find Metropolist. It's located on 1st Avenue South. The Ederer Crane building was constructed in 1919 and was utilized to manufacture large-scale cranes for use in various construction projects throughout the area. You will find that one of the cranes has been left in our space, which gives events and parties a distinctly industrial and metropolitan atmosphere. We provide you with a variety of room options so that you can make your event stand out from the rest, whether you prefer an open floor plan or a multidimensional space to which you can bring your own vision. The venues at Metropolist allow for complete personalization, which makes it an excellent choice as the location for a wedding, party, or corporate event in the Seattle area. Take a moment to imagine the following scene for your wedding ceremony, reception, conference, or party: a calm forested hillside to the east and west, a lovely sandy beach, sailboats on Puget Sound, and the sun sinking over the Olympic Mountains-all within 14 minutes of downtown Seattle! The historic Golden Gardens Bathhouse, located just west of the Ballard district and within the famed Golden Gardens Park, was constructed in the 1930s and is a must-see attraction. In the winter, the bathhouse is kept warm by independent heating, while in the summer, it is kept cool by cross ventilation. The Main Hall can comfortably accommodate up to 140 seated people, and it can accommodate up to 295 standing visitors for a standing-room-only event in its entirety. The Main Hall has a cathedral ceiling with numerous skylights that allow plenty of natural light to stream into the room.

The inventiveness of our founders, Prentice and Virginia Bloedel, together with their shared vision and their deep and abiding love of the natural world resulted in the creation of a natural marvel that spans 150 acres and is known as Bloedel Reserve. They meticulously converted a rough-hewn Northwest forest into a harmonic collection of manicured gardens, structural elements, and distinctive landscapes, using nature as both a canvas and paint by working with the difficult geology of the area. The Bloedel Reserve is a public garden and woodland preserve that has gained a reputation on an international scale. Explore almost 150 acres of sculpted landscapes, woodlands, meadows, and animal habitats while strolling along maintained routes across the area. Open from Tuesday through Sunday, all year round, regardless of the weather. The area that is now known as Bloedel Reserve has a rich history that dates back to a time long before it was owned by the Bloedel family. Recognizing, appreciating, and honoring that history is the only thing that makes sense given the circumstances. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Suquamish People, also known as the People of the Clear Salt Water, for their diligent care of the land on which our therapeutic landscapes are built. Those who have been entrusted with the responsibility of caring for Bloedel Reserve realize that the holy ancestral area on which the Reserve is located thrives as a result of the Suquamish people's stewardship, which has existed from the beginning of time. Built for the 1962 World’s Fair—the Century 21 Exposition whose theme was “The Age of Space”—the tower’s futuristic design was inspired by the idea that the fair needed a structure to symbolize humanity’s Space Age aspirations.
