Kimball Hall, a historic two story Queen Anne house dating from the 1880’s, presents the picture perfect setting for a romantic wedding rich in Southern tradition. The buffet room of our charming farmhouse opens into a lovely modern ballroom made almost totally of floor to ceiling windows. The ballroom’s French doors overlook the ancient Oak tree with its charming swing, which is listed on the Historic Tree Register. We have continued the neutral colors, bead board, and hardwood floors that make the original home so warm and inviting. This addition has allowed us to have a new powder room (making three!), and another full service bar! Call today and get a personal tour of Kimball Hall! The bride arrives before the groom to dress and take pictures with the special people in your party. Our quaint bridal room makes a great “getting ready” background. Naylor Hall
Building the first component of what would eventually become Naylor Hall for H.W. Proudfoot and his wife, Euphemia, in the 1840s, Barrington King designed it as a four-room clapboard house with a central fireplace, which was later expanded. Mr. Proudfoot was engaged as an accountant by Mr. King, the son of the city of Roswell's founder, in his recently constructed Roswell Mills facility. Colonel Harrison Broadwell acquired the property in the late 1930s and renamed it Naylor Hall in honor of his wife's family, which is still the name of the building today. Aside from that, he made a number of changes that may still be seen today, including the columns, carved woodwork, and a portico that wraps around the original structure. Naylor Hall is still making history today, well into the twenty-first century, with each and every event that takes place on Canton Street. Lady Naylor Hall, who is 170 years old and a southern beauty, has had her tummy tucked and her thighs tucked in order to greet the millennium.
