The Outdoor Art Club, which is located in downtown Mill Valley, is a private, non-profit women's organization that was established in 1902. Its 35 founding members, who were inspired by the "City Beautiful" urban design movement of the 1890s, set out to promote the civic value of public parks and natural outdoor spaces in Mill Valley. Today, our members continue to advocate for conservation and open space preservation, as well as supporting the cultural arts and other civic endeavors that contribute to the vitality of the Mill Valley neighborhood. Participation in the club is only possible through sponsorship by an existing member. The clubhouse of the Outdoor Art Club, designed in 1904 by renowned architect Bernard Maybeck, is a National Historic Landmark and has been designated as such. It is available for public use on a rental basis. Private events can be held at the Outdoor Art Club, which can be rented out. The rental rates for Saturdays in 2022 are $6,000, and the rates for Fridays and Sundays are $5,000. The rental rates for Saturdays in 2023 are $6,500, and the rates for Fridays and Sundays are $5,500. Prices are subject to change without notice. Before renting a room, you must take a tour of the club with a docent. Tours are only available on Saturdays between 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., and they must be scheduled in advance. Reservations for tours must be made online by 3:00 p.m. on the Thursday before the tour. You can take a virtual tour of our beautiful club by scrolling down. A passion for agriculture and a lifelong dedication to land stewardship carry on through legacy on this very special West Marin canvas which sweeps from the floor of Nicasio Valley up through shady side-canyons to steep slopes overlooking rolling hills. A 1960’s tall tin barn with large wooden doors for a grand entrance. The barn offers space to dine and dance with views of the rolling hills with a clear view of the sky. Featuring dimming chandeliers, bistro lighting indoors and out, a collection of antique gold mirrors and a stage for wedding party, lounge or entertainment. A variety of décor and rental collectives available from lounge furniture, decorative tables and items, ceremony décor, lawn games, bar/buffet/reception items. Ceremony Locations • Nature speaks for itself with a very special location at the base of a hillside alongside Halleck Creek, surrounded by rolling hills and flats with a canyon of trees as a backdrop. • A sloping hillside behind the reception barn, surrounded by steep canyons and a view of the ranch’s buildings. Weddings Now comes the fun part: planning! At Inn Marin, we will work with you and, if you have one, with your wedding coordinator to ensure that your big day is precisely as you imagined it. Our experience in handling all on-site preparations allows you and your significant other to relax and enjoy the moment while celebrating with family and friends. The Inn Marin amenities include over 1,500 square feet of total inside meeting area, as well as a five-acre outdoor garden setting that can accommodate up to 300 guests. The resort, which is centrally located and has plenty of parking, has 68 guest rooms, including four suites, for out-of-town visitors. Inn Marin is a great destination for your wedding weekend, with romantic Mission-style architecture and a lovely courtyard garden. To reserve the space for up to 100 guests, you have exclusive access to our back patio between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM on any day of the week. An event coordinator will work with you through the entire process and be on-site the day of to ensure everything runs smoothly. For food and beverage options, we offer a variety of choices. You may select from our in-house passed hors d'oeuvres or opt for one of our preferred catering partners for a full-course meal. Prices can vary depending on your selection. In terms of beverages, we offer wine and beer. Please note that beverage purchases are in addition to the rental fee. If you choose to bring your own beverages, a corkage fee will apply. Alternatively, if you prefer to only rent the space without food and beverage service, the venue fee alone would apply. Please inquire about pricing.
