The Space at Irondale occupies a restored nineteenth-century Sunday school in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, giving the 6,000-square-foot hall ceilings that rise 26 to 28 feet and a character the organization describes as "theatrical and contemporary with a historic feeling." A wrap-around balcony on three sides adds 1,900 square feet of gallery and café space, encircled by original stained glass windows. The space accommodates up to 250 guests in flexible configurations and seats 200 at tables with room for a dance floor — well suited to weddings, galas, benefits, and corporate events alongside theatrical productions. More than 150 lighting instruments and a full four-speaker sound system are available for use, and an open vendor policy gives planners full latitude over catering, décor, and other services.
