ABOUT OUR HISTORIC BUILDING In the mid-1940's, a group of civic minded citizens came together to make Dorothy Jackson’s dream come to fruition: to make Middleburg the social hub of Loudoun and Fauquier County. Over the years, the center has hosted the Kennedy's, Elizabeth Taylor, and Hank Williams, just to name a few. The residents of Middleburg have fostered a pristine public space for everybody to enjoy. OUR VENUE From intimate gatherings in the loft, to grand galas in the ballroom, the indoor facility can accommodate up to 320 people in the full venue depending on layout. Our facilities offer an elegant space featuring 24" soaring ceilings in the Grand Ballroom, 12,000+ square feet of facility space, private gardens and grounds, and elegant architecture that serves as a timeless backdrop to your core memories. The five acre property backs up to the Salamander Resort, is down the street from the historic Red Fox Inn, and includes a public pool, shaded picnic grounds with grills, two playgrounds, an open field, and secluded herb garden and patio - as well as ample private parking and all walkable to towns finest eateries and establishments. Other treasured local accommodations include The Goodstone Inn and the charming historic Welbourne Inn.

Our typical capacity is 110 people, but with additional seating under our covered patio, we can accommodate up to 130 people. The winery provides a great deal of flexibility for weddings of all kinds and sizes. Our employees, chosen caterers, and vendors are the best in the business. Everyone participating in your wedding wants it to be a magical, unforgettable event. VINEYARD CEREMONIES Wedding ceremonies are held in the vineyard's front field. The setting sun in the western sky creates a breathtakingly gorgeous spectacle. Prior to or after the ceremony, photographers may take images of the bride and groom among the vines. THE COMPASS ROSE ROOM The Compass Rose Room is the ideal setting for your winery wedding reception or rehearsal dinner in Virginia. It's a wide, open area with high ceilings, exquisite lighting, and double French doors leading to the covered Patio, which can seat up to 110 people. The atmosphere is traditionally rustic. Your guests will enjoy being in the center of a boutique Virginia winery, in addition to being a great wedding location in Northern Virginia. The cork-covered walls and the glass barrel room window add dramatic wine-related accents. The Compass Rose Room also has a catering kitchen adjacent to it, allowing for simple and efficient serving. COCKTAILS ON THE LAWN During cocktail hour, your guests will have plenty of space to socialize on our wide patio and grass. If requested, there is space for cornhole or other lawn activities. The vista, as well as the promise of a spectacular sunset over the vineyard, will be enjoyed by guests. Shiloh Manor was once a part of a vast land grant owned by Lord William Fairfax, and it is now a private residence. The property, which has been in the family for generations, has played an important role in the history of Loudoun County, supplying goods to the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War, hosting encampments of both the northern and southern armies during the Civil War, and today serving as an elegant and historic setting for weddings and other special events. Located just north of Purcellville, Shiloh Manor has a seating capacity of 100 people and is easily accessible. Our facility's 25-foot-high ceiling, numerous windows, recessed ceiling lighting, and brass chandeliers all contribute to the creation of a bright and airy environment that is fully air-conditioned and heated. A seamless and outstandingly memorable experience for you and your guests is our goal. We have three restrooms, a private bride's suite (with private restroom), professional catering kitchen, musicians loft, and excellent acoustics to accomplish this. It opens through double doors to a well-lit 35'x25' raised patio with travertine floors and a beautiful and unusual stone quatrefoil railing, which is ideal for dancing under the stars. The barn has a total of four bedrooms and three bathrooms. We also have a nearby domed stone gazebo for wedding vows, as well as a large tent-friendly area adjacent to our vineyard for larger gatherings. In addition, we can provide the groom and his groomsmen with a 250-year-old spring house that has been renovated and is fully air conditioned.
