When WithinSodo was conceived, the Sodo building had existed as a metal shop, an industrial equipment sales location, and a warehouse for furniture storage. The bones were strong, the space open, and the character authentic. Highlighting the natural materials and creating a “function through form” design was the goal. We wanted to build a space that could adapt to and house a wide variety of events, from an hour-long photo shoot to a day-long corporate retreat and everything in between. The execution of a “flex space” required careful consideration to conform to as many different concepts as possible. The addition of kitchen and bar facilities as well as a rooftop deck brings an entirely new level of versatility and something unique to the Sodo neighborhood. The finished space consists of three dividable rooms of 1600 square feet each, a 3000 square foot roof deck, three bathrooms, a caterer’s kitchen, two bars, an 80" projection screen and audio ran throughout. With a total capacity of 500, WithinSodo caters to almost any type of event you can imagine. Our total allowed capacity is 625 – 450 downstairs and 175 upstairs. We continue to get inspired by WithinSodo and hope that you will too.

Cave B Resort, which includes the Inn (Cliffhouses, Cavern rooms, and Yurts), as well as Tendrils Restaurant & Spa, was purchased by Michael and Helen Yi in the summer of 2017 from its original owners, Vince and Carol Bryan, who founded Cave B. The resort was rebranded as the Sagecliffe Resort and Spa after the Yi family sold their holdings to a private ownership group in December of 2020. Cave B Vineyards, Cave B Estate Winery, Stage B Amphitheatre, our beautiful Piazza, Willow pond, and the majority of the open lands that surround our vineyards were kept by the Bryan family. Aside from the fact that they once shared a driveway and a history, the Winery and the Resort (which includes the Inn, Restaurant, and Spa) no longer have any connection with one another. We are not jointly owned nor managed in any capacity. "The Winemaker's Lofts" can be found a short distance down the road from Cave B Estate Winery, perched precariously on the edge of the cliff. These lofts are privately owned, so they are not a part of Cave B. However, they are just a short walk away and look incredible. Come and take in the breathtaking scenery from the comfort of your own private loft, which features one queen bed, one full bed, and one twin bed (sleeping a total of four people), as well as a cozy sitting area, a small refrigerator, a bathroom, air conditioning, a heater, and your very own grassy picnic area, complete with a chaise lounge, tables, and chairs, and breathtaking views of the river. Reserve both this room and the one next door to accommodate a total of eight guests. In addition to complimentary Cave B wine tasting vouchers, guests will also receive vouchers for free concert parking in the Cave B Gorge concert lot (one voucher per room) (we are also walking distance to the Gorge if you prefer to walk). Daily private infinity pool sessions for two hours with the most breathtaking views are yours to enjoy. Bagged ice for your cooler and a private tasting with Freddy Arredondo, a winemaker who has won multiple awards, are both available as add-ons for an additional fee ( private tastings on non-Gorge concert days). Rock Creek Gardens is a 20-acre private estate just south of Seattle in Puyallup, WA, that blends Northwest and English garden landscapes. The Gardens can accommodate ceremonies and parties for groups of two to 300 people. Based on the particulars of your gathering, members of our staff will collaborate with you to design a unique floor plan and offer advice regarding which kinds of configurations and traffic patterns work best in our venue. Dockside at Duke's has 3,500 square feet of indoor event space with a distinct, modern Pacific Northwest vibe. Our floor to ceiling windows face west, so you and your guests will have the picture-perfect view over the waters. Dockside at Duke's will open in August 2019. Believe us when we say that the experience of watching the sun set over Lake Union from our venue is truly unforgettable. It was no surprise when Houdini hurled the deck of cards to the ceiling, but no one anticipated one of the cards to become stuck to a beam. The Ace of Spades, on the other hand, did. It was the exact card that Houdini's host had selected from the deck and inserted just before Houdini launched them into the air before they were able to catch their breath. In honor of the host, C.D Stimson, a prominent member of Seattle's early business and social communities, the card was kept on display in his home for the following twenty years. Willows Lodge was his hunting camp, and it was where he spent much of his time. The Stimsons, as well as numerous other prominent families from Seattle, had country estates in the valley near the current location of Willows Lodge. They reportedly partied, relaxed, hunted ducks, and created substantial business concepts on a regular basis, according to reports. It felt appropriate to carry on the name and spirit of the old Willows Lodge with the new Willows Lodge. An extensive photo collection at the hotel's special event room depicts the early years of the valley's development. Although the current Lodge, which opened in September 2000, is open to the public and guests are more frequently looking for a nice bottle of wine than a duck, it remains a "country place" committed to superb meals, a warm fire, relaxation, romance, and inspiring business deals, among other things. People were encouraged to stay in touch with their tradition and informality by creating a venue that offered the highest degree of refinement in cuisine, comfort, aesthetics, and service while yet being connected to their past and informality.

Urban Light Studios has recently merged our event space with our downtown Seattle venue, AXIS Pioneer Square. Urban Light Studios team of talented photographers remain available to you for all your photography needs. We are no longer accepting events at our Greenwood studios. With great pride, AXIS has preserved 10,000 square feet of space within the historic 1889 Globe Building as Seattle’s most exciting event space. We provide two separate but joinable spaces allowing an event capacity of 25-400+, depending on desired layout. AXIS is centered on a series of 18-foot brick arches blending seamlessly into antique wood floors, with a sprinkle of industrial modern design.
