Connar graduated from The School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State before diving right into the event industry. Bringing experience from the New York City hotel industry and the #1 private club in the nation, Connar now works as the Event Director at an intimate venue in Eastern Market. In 2019, Connar launched 24 Maple. She loves designing elegant, romantic events that highlight a couple’s personality. Her events are intimate, natural and timeless. Her attention to detail and natural creativity give your wedding the unique, personal touch you are looking for. When Connar is not working, she can be found creating new cupcake recipes, traveling somewhere new and seeking unique adventures, cheering on the MSU Spartans, walking with Moshi on the Riverfront, or eating her way through Detroit’s best restaurants. To an outsider, a wedding is just two people exchanging rings in a beautiful venue filled with friends, family, and lots of flowers. It’s visual. To your guests, a wedding is the culmination of a love story that has been writing itself for who knows how long. 24 Maple is here to help write the next chapter of that story, highlighting the best moments of your time together and those yet to come.
