A Girl and Her Glitter

I've spent much of my life in a little rural neighborhood of Orlando as a quirky, artistic former band nerd. Food is virtually always stuck in my hair, while craft items are cemented to my legs. I believe that everything can be accomplished while wearing a great tulle skirt, and that the right pair of shoes can elevate any ensemble to new heights. I once went to a fashion event wearing a garment that was totally stapled together. Despite the many comments, I was secretly afraid it would break in the middle of the play because I had neglected to bring my 'emergency' stapler! That pretty much sums up my personality: I'll make it if I can't find it. Since 2007, I've been married to a cross-country blind date who turned out to be horribly perfect. Mathew 'Handsomeface' (as he's known in my phone) is everything I've ever wanted. He was born and raised in Iowa, where he grew up loving the outdoors and is every bit the family guy and provider! Unfortunately, he isn't funny at all, which only adds to my admiration for him! We absolutely let him tell his own jokes because he enjoys them so much! So, I'm here! My ideal business, in which I may be exactly who I want to be! Every production is made possible by A Girl and Her Glitter, which allows me to think imaginatively. After graduating from college with a degree in mixed media arts, I worked as an intern for a local event planning firm in 2005 until becoming a partner in 2007. I was an expert in full-service event design and one-of-a-kind details. If I couldn't get what I needed, I would make it myself! I understood that I wanted to keep doing the big picture design and creating unique things for each customer! And the rest is history.
