Adaptation Floral Design

My journey into floral design began after I graduated from college with a communications degree and began working for a marketing firm. Six months in, I decided I wasn't cut out for marketing and formulated my grand plan, by which I mean a long-term strategy. 1) Go to the flower shop around the corner from my house and apply for a job. 2) Purchase a beach cruiser with a basket so that I can bring fresh flowers home from work every day. It wasn't well planned out, but after my employer handed me the keys with no instructions and a lot of trial and error, I discovered that floral design was something I like doing and that I was quite good at. After gaining experience working for various businesses, I decided in 2007 that it was time to go out on my own and create a store. Adaptation is a representation of my broad style and varying tastes. I enjoy how the shop is always changing and how the many projects, difficulties, and weddings that are offered to me inspire me. Nothing beats being able to create a look that exactly matches someone's personal taste. I honestly don't know what I'd do if I weren't doing this.
