Great photos don't happen by accident. Yea, sometimes you get lucky. Most of the time though, a good photographer makes it happen. You pose people, you fix hair, you move people or things, you schedule to shoot when there is good light, you bring light with you: You are prepared for anything and everything. You are the director. There are reasons why I say: Lift your chin. Stand here. Turn this way. Walk like this. The rest of the time, I'm standing back, anticipating those moments you want captured to happen, then like a sniper, I shoot it. That's me.
