Amy Merrick is a writer and floral stylist who works with nature to tell stories. She has contributed to The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times: How To Spend It, Kinfolk, House & Garden UK, and Pleasure Garden Magazine, among other publications. Vogue, Architectural Digest, Martha Stewart Living, Broccoli Magazine, and other publications have featured her floral styling. T: The New York Times Style Magazine called her one of their top florists to follow on Instagram. She has produced exhibits for The Metropolitan Museum of Art and MoMA PS1. Artisan published her first book, On Flowers: Lessons from an Accidental Florist, in 2019. She collects her film photos, personal thoughts, inspirations, and a new viewpoint on living with and appreciating flowers in this book. The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Real Simple, Better Homes & Gardens, and Flower Magazine all praised it as a Best Gift Book of the Year.
