Awesome Balloon Creations is owned and operated by Michelle Tibble. People frequently ask me how I got into this line of work, and the long and short answer is that I enjoy working with children and art, and that I mostly fell into it. Since I can remember, I've been drawing, making, and singing. I earned a BA in Musical Theater from college, and one summer I landed a job that required me to learn a circus talent. I learnt balloon art, and the worlds of balloons, performance, and events all came together to form the amazing company you see today. In Chicago, I've found such a beautiful community of artists and event planners, and it's a gift to be able to collaborate and grow with other artists every day to bring beauty and creativity to our clients (you!). You support beauty and art every time we create a memory for you, and that makes my heart sing. I sincerely enjoy assisting others in making pleasant memories. The delight we see on our clients' faces when they get their balloon creations or laugh and grin during our live entertainment is what drives us to keep striving to make your balloon and event experience the greatest you've ever had. Michelle's acting credits include: Donna and Tonya in the Broadway National Tour of Mamma Mia!, 8+ years with "Schoolhouse Rock Live!" for schools and theaters in the Chicagoland area, Second City Conservatory graduate and ETC/Sky Donny's Box improv performances, LA Comedy Festival, On Camera commercial work, and theater performances with local and regional theaters, including: Metropolis Performing Arts in Arlington Heights, Buffalo Theatrical Works, and others. She also has a decade of experience teaching music and musical theater to children ranging in age from infants to adults.
