Beijaflor Botanicals

It was born out of a lifelong fascination with the beauty and medicinal powers of plants that Beijaflor Botanicals came to be. These hobbies have culminated in two complementing services, which are provided by the company's founder, Auna Lorin: Floral Design and the Botanical Bar. Beijaflor is the Portuguese word for hummingbird, and it is from this bloodline that Auna derives her name. 'To kiss the flower' is a straight translation that relates to the beauty that may be found in the relationship between a pollinator and the bloom. While tasting the delicate and complex aromas of the Beijaflor Botanical elixirs, one is reminded of a hummingbird sipping sweet nectar from a flower, which is an evocative image. Although Auna has been working on improving her crafts and business for the past ten years, her company only became formally operational as a full-time venture in 2017. She provides her services in the North Bay Area of Sonoma County, as well as the greater Bay Area and surrounding areas. She travels with her creative services all around California, and she has even been known to travel as far as New York and even beyond to Spain with her clients and collaborators. Auna uses her knowledge and training in traditional herbalism, as well as a passion and palate for exquisite flavors, to provide her skills as a certified bartender, preparing delectable plant infusions. She also gives private consultations. Using seasonal fruits and spices, her compositions serve as a base for artisanal cocktails, which also incorporate handcrafted bitters from her own distillery. Auna provides this one-of-a-kind service as a Botanical Bar, where she will serve libations during your special event.
