BRRCH began as Brittany Asch's New York-based floral initiative, now situated in Los Angeles, and was launched in 2013 on the idea of distributing flowers as art to increase understanding of the natural world around us. Brittany aspires to build Floral climates from worlds that do not exist, often lifting the flower elements she presents into the realm of imagination and surreality, with a profound appreciation for natural settings. "What love would look like if love could manifest into flowery form," someone reportedly said of her art with flowers. Her flower arrangements, which have been praised by the New York Times, Vogue, Martha Stewart, and a growing list of clients, are custom-made for each recipient. She gets a lot of joy out of creating meaningful and memorable art that challenges our preconceived beliefs about floral arrangements and how we interact with them. She wants people to notice what is there in front of them and to find another point of entry into dreams in her work.
