Chef Donald Link, a native of Louisiana who was inspired by his grandparents' Cajun and Southern cooking, started working as a professional chef at the age of 15. Chef Link, regarded as one of New Orleans' top chefs, has dotted the Warehouse District of New Orleans with a number of restaurants during the previous fifteen years. Link's first restaurant was Herbsaint, a modern spin on the French-American "bistro." Link delivers authentic Cajun and Southern cuisine at Cochon, a restaurant he co-founded with chef partner Stephen Stryjewski and where he uses the ingredients and methods he grew up with to prepare and consume food.
