The craft of cooking is more than simply a job or even a hobby for Chef Stephen Thompson; it's a way of life. Since he has spent nearly his entire life in the kitchen, Thompson is most at ease there. He states, "I don't have any concerns there. "I just concentrate on the tasks at hand." He is thrilled to be the Executive Chef at Dashi, where he has been able to really let his creativity shine, and has years of practical experience in a number of different kitchens and environments. He holds a culinary degree from the Art Institute of Charleston. Think about the Food Truck Trainee Program at Dashi. Dashi began as a food truck in 2014. Since then, we've learned how to run a food truck and what works (and what doesn't). The Dashi Food Truck Trainee Program will assist you in gaining experience and learning more about the industry, regardless of whether you are thinking of starting your own food truck or enjoy the concept of operating a Dashi truck (profit sharing is available). With a focus on learning about food truck operation and management, trainees will have the chance to work in both our brick and mortar kitchen and on our food truck.
