DJ Pat Black

Since 2001, I've been spinning throughout the New Orleans vicinity. Making breakbeat remixes of trance tunes with my colleague DJ Judd was how I first got the bug. Producing music became much simpler after years of studying the Suzuki Piano Method, and learning Acid and Fruity Loops was novel and fascinating. Judd and I later came together to form a duo DJ team, and we had the good fortune to perform at numerous places around the Midwest and South. Meynard and Justin, two of my cousins, started making hip-hop music, and ST1D Records was established. Despite the fact that we never really took ourselves seriously, we managed to create more than 50 original songs. Pretty impressive for producers of leisure goods! I decided to leave the restaurant business in 2010 so that my fiancée Ashley and I could start a new business called Spoofs Photo Booths. Soon after, Beebe, Ashley's brother and the proprietor of Studio Tran Photography, offered me a chance. He also has a mobile DJ business called All Out Entertainment, and he asked me if I wanted to start record-spinning once more. This would be a different game from what I was used to because his company catered to weddings. I've always felt at ease holding a microphone, so I felt like I was made to be a wedding DJ. Nothing compares to the sensation of the platter dragging the record. All of the DJs at All Out Entertainment take pride in having the ability to operate a pair of Technics, which is uncommon among wedding DJs.
