Edward Underwood Photography

Edward Underwood is a photographer that specializes in weddings, lifestyle photography, and design. He presently resides in Washington, District of Columbia. He spent his childhood in the District, and it was there that he first became interested in photography, at a time when he was considering attending law school. After completing his education in North Carolina, he returned to Washington, DC and began working as a financial analyst before transitioning into a photography career. His work has been showcased exquisitely in publications such as Washingtonian Magazine, Baltimore Weddings Magazine, Richmond Brides Magazine, Munaluchi Bridal, Black Enterprise, Home & Design Magazine, The Washington Post, and The New York Times. In addition, he has had his work featured on the cover of Richmond Brides Magazine. The Underwood Collective is a photography and interior design business owned by Edward and Shawna Underwood, Edward's wife and business partner. They take their boys Preston and Chase along with them on their extensive travels to seek inspiration for their photography and creative work. Their relationships with one another become even more solid as a result of this process.
