When owner and multi-award-winning luxury wedding planner Emily Reno started getting a lot of requests for small weddings in Las Vegas, Elopement Las Vegas started. A dull, corny Elvis Las Vegas chapel wedding was not what the couples desired. They sought unusual locations away from the strip and other than the traditional chapel. Naturally, they didn't have a large budget because they weren't organizing a full wedding. This gave Emily a thought! Why not get in touch with the beautiful wedding venues she already has strong ties with and ask when they have open slots in their calendars so that she can quickly and easily organize pop-up marriages and elopements to fill those times? This is how Elopement Las Vegas got its start! About six years ago, I began working in this field as a full-service wedding coordinator. Instead of listing all of my wonderful accomplishments, I believed it would be more effective to explain the purpose of my company. I chose a small wedding in Mexico with around 45 of my closest relatives and friends because I wanted to keep things private. We wanted to have a really wild honeymoon even though we were attempting to buy a property. We were just getting married and didn't have a lot of money to spend on a lavish wedding. We also didn't want to fall into debt. I absolutely do not regret making the choice, but there were a few aspects of my wedding day that I did not enjoy, and I never wanted anyone else to go through the same thing.
