My name is Edelina, and I'm the owner of Event Details as well as the company's Principal Wedding Consultant. For the past two decades, I have worked in and around the event industry. In 2000, I began working as an event consultant, specializing in the rental of event equipment. Working at Event Rentals and earning my Master's degree in Communications at the same time allowed me to intern for a wedding organizer while also learning the ropes at an event company, which I began doing in 2001. After the company's owner chose to sell a portion of the company, I ended doing my events there and formed my own company in 2003 under my own name. In 2002, I received my Certificate in Events Management from George Washington University, and I am also a member of the Bridal Society, which certifies me as a Wedding Planner. To date, I've assisted in the coordination of weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, bridal showers, bachelorette parties, baby showers, retirement parties, corporate events, distance event planning (events in other cities), and milestone birthday parties for friends and family. We specialize on low-cost events since I'm a "coupon-er" at heart, and I'm always on the lookout for a good deal.
