Paulina started Events by Paulina after planning her own four-day wedding in Florence, Italy. Why? Because she saw a huge gap in client experience when it came to planning a destination wedding in Europe. In today’s world, instant gratification is a basic requirement, not an add-on. While working with a wedding coordinator based in Italy, she often didn’t get email replies for weeks. Planning a wedding and being a bride was already giving her enough stress, she didn’t need additional stress from the one person that was supposed to be helping her. In other words, she started Events by Paulina because she wanted to deliver the destination wedding experience she wish she had. Everyone deserves the fairytale wedding they’ve always dreamed about with the least amount of friction possible. Paulina works hard like the New Yorker that she is, and only work with the best partners in the industry that hold themselves to the same standard. She is proud of the high-touch service, enchanting designs, and seamless execution they deliver and honor. She strongly believes that having worked on strategy and business development for a leading financial institution gives her an edge in delivering the best planning process and client experience. Today, Paulina spends at least 2 months a year in beautiful Italy, reviewing wedding venues, connecting with vendor partners, tasting local restaurants, and experiencing tours and activities firsthand. She always does her due diligence and knows Italy intimately. She also travels to LA, Tokyo, and Paris often to observe the latest trends. Having lived and traveled around the world has given her an immense amount of inspiration for my event designs. Paulina loves a good party. She loves all the special occasions and celebrations. Her friends would say that she loves their birthdays even more than they love their own birthdays. Seeing and knowing that people are having a great time honestly makes every bone in her body happy. Maybe she is making up for lost time, celebrating each occasion bigger and better because she didn’t get to celebrate them growing up. Who knows?
