F. Dellit Designs LLC specializes in the design of weddings and events. It is our pleasure to introduce ourselves as a floral studio in the Westchase neighborhood of Houston. It allows us to develop an intimate relationship with each client and provide one-on-one service without the distractions that come with a retail flower shop. You can frequently find us delivering throughout the greater Houston area, including Galveston, Conroe, and surrounding areas. People frequently inquire as to how I became involved in floral design. That sweet childhood memory of growing up in a garden, watching my mother play with flowers, isn't really a part of my story. I grew up playing basketball, which led to me attending college in the Chadron, Nebraska, metropolis. I spent four years there playing basketball, and the only flowers I recall seeing were orchids in a collection I started on our ping pong table! After receiving my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, I was like many others who were left wondering what to do next. I took a chance and moved to Oregon to study floral design at the Floral Design Institute. Jumping from city to city, I worked for a number of small flower shops known as "Mom and Pop." I quickly discovered that my floral design passion lay in the realm of weddings. After relocating from Denver, Colorado to the massive metropolis of Houston, Texas, I established my own business in 2013. With a child in my womb, I found myself at a crossroads in my life and realized it was time to pursue my dreams. I'm extremely grateful that I have an incredible support system behind me and that I get to do what I love on a daily basis. After so many years of designing, I'm now transitioning into a more administrative role. I enjoy watching Jacki and Sarah develop into incredible fashion designers. Whenever I'm not working in the design studio, you can find me with my husband and two children camping, trying new restaurants, drinking red wine, or scrolling through social media.
