Events and Weddings are our specialty... From the huge and majestic to the intimate and private, there's something for everyone. Hello, my name is Peggy Sirisky. I am a native of Charleston, and I am extremely proud of my company's service and reputation. My mother, Margie, and I launched The Flower Cottage in a small 800 square foot building near the College of Charleston campus, on the junction of Wentworth and St. Philip Streets. John Doyle, a well-known and well-liked Charleston artist, was working across from us. It was a dream come true to see the flowers he bought from my business in his paintings! The blue hydrangea was his favorite. I developed a constant cash flow by selling roses to college students for $1 a stem. They would then come to The Flower Cottage after graduation to have their wedding flowers done by me. Countless localities, hotels, restaurants, colleges, high schools, funeral homes, hospitals, and professional folks are now included in my house accounts. I've been able to prosper despite the ups and downs of the market, and now a global epidemic, thanks to the aid of a devoted workforce. My team and I take great delight in sending out the highest-quality, most attractive, and always handcrafted flower arrangements. From downtown to the Islands, we take great delight in our weddings and events.
