Our design philosophy is an exercise in harmony. Earthy, yet refined. Feminine, but never ostentatious. The natural world's frequently unintentional yet profound beauty inspires us. We believe that our surroundings have an impact on our lives. Flowers, on the other hand, provide beauty and meaning to even the most beautiful spaces, bringing joy in the moment as well as in future recollections. We're pleased to provide the transformative power of florals to the most significant day of our clients' life, inspired by our namesake, the hawthorn. OUR ORIGINATOR Melanie Tom's biggest satisfaction is bringing a client's vision to life through florals. She's also a lefty who enjoys making people laugh. Here are some more things that make her happy: Her lovely partner and smart toddler. Eating seafood while overlooking the sea. The wide outdoors, to be precise. FOR THE SAKE OF OUR NAMES The enchantment of our namesake serves as a source of inspiration for us. For millennia, hawthorn has been used to heal broken hearts and prepare them for love. Our studio, like the hawthorn, strives to foster comfort, connection, and peace via nature's inherent strength. OUR PROCESS We work closely with our clients to ensure that each project is built on trust, open communication, and a personal connection. Our years of knowledge and solid relationships with dynamic farmers can assist you in determining what's seasonal and best suited for your location and environment. OUR RESIDENCE We live and work in Northern California, and we take pride in knowing every back road, winding bend, and vista the region has to offer. We didn't think it was possible, but our work with flowers has made us love the place and the people who live there even more.
