About Hitch Perfect

My name is Amy and I live in the San Francisco Bay area. I work with couples who either live in or are getting married in San Francisco and its surrounding areas. What I love most about weddings is how they are all completely unique and reflective of the couple. Whether I am involved from the beginning as a planner or coming in towards the end of the process as a coordinator, I want to sit down and get a feel for who you both are, individually and as a couple. It is ultimately my job to be the voice of the couple when talking to vendors and on the day of the wedding, so I want to make sure that I know you well enough to be confident as that voice. Finally, what is most important to me as a planner and coordinator is that you are 100% worry-free on the day of your wedding and that every detail has been taken care of so that you can simply enjoy your time with family and friends. I offer three tiers of service for a variety of needs. No matter the size of your wedding, I highly recommend hiring a day-of coordinator at the very least. Having someone there to manage your vendors, guests, and last-minute issues is key to having a successful and stress-free wedding. Allegro Package: Full-Service Planning As a full-service planner, it's my job to help you with every step of the process from budgeting, finding vendors, and choosing a color/style scheme, to being there on the day of the wedding to make sure everything runs like clockwork. Planning a wedding is a lot of work, so it's incredibly helpful to have someone there that can keep you on track and remind you of all the little details that you may overlook otherwise. Vivace Package: Partial Planning My partial planner package is for those of you who fall in the middle - you feel like you have most of the planning under control, but would love some dedicated time with a professional for those one or two parts of the process that are overwhelming. With this package I offer 15 hours of consultation and give you access to a wonderful planning tool that will act as another guiding hand through the whole process. Presto Package: Day-of Coordinator A day-of coordinator is present at all of the important events surrounding your wedding day. I will meet with you a few months before the wedding to get to know you as a couple, discuss how your planning is going, and work out the day-of details. It's my job to make sure the dress rehearsal and wedding day go as smoothly as possible and ensuring that the only thing you have to worry about is getting married.

How did you become a wedding planner?
I worked at Williams-Sonoma in the bridal registry department for 10 years seasonally, as a server for a catering company, and have performed in weddings as a professional flutist for over a decade. Combining all of my previous knowledge and a love of organization just made sense.
