Melinda Sparks is my name. I specialize in "day of coordination" as a wedding coordinator. I began planning events for a small catering company ten years ago, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I knew I'd found my calling right away. After four fantastic years with this organization, I decided it was time to strike out on my own and push myself to new heights. My first wedding went off without a hitch, and I felt incredible pride and success. My true passion is being a huge part of someone's special day. I am ecstatic about the prospect of assisting a bride, groom, and their loved ones in creating a spectacular day filled with love. I take pride in taking care of every detail and ensuring a smooth and seamless transition. I am fortunate to observe the look of joy, surprise, and expectation on a bride's face moments before she walks down the aisle. "If you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life," it is stated. This could not be more true in my case. Day of Coordination includes but is not limited to: Excellent local vendor recommendations Assist with fashion, design, and creative concepts, as well as trend shifts. Make a point of contact with your suppliers. Assist with event space planning and possible seating configurations. Make a precise "day of" schedule for the bridesmaids and vendors. Assist with the rehearsal of the ceremony and the final walkthrough. Oversee and assist with the setup and breakdown of the full ceremony and celebration. Work personally with all vendors, checking them in and ensuring that they are providing all of the services that were promised. Personal ceremony and reception items are set up. Throughout the event, act as a liaison between the bride and groom, the venue, and the vendors. During the occasion, guide you, your bridal party, and your family through each and every transition. Ensure that the timeline runs smoothly and seamlessly from the start of the ceremony to the finish of the entire event.
