Kay Mae Design is a sustainable event planning company owned by award-winning designer Kayce Mae Penn. Built for the socially conscious couple seeking wedding planning or the B Corp companies seeking eco-friendly event planning. Our focus at Kay Mae Design is first and foremost on the experience. Celebrations and gatherings are a critical part of our lives, and we believe that creating these events should evoke feelings of comfort, joy, exhilaration, and relaxation. Our technique is to approach events with people in mind first, not color palettes. Our mission is to provide solutions to the environmental crisis while building stronger communities. I envision a company that gives back to the communities in which it serves. A business owner is the single most influential societal cog in our modern-day economies. I take that position seriously and look to utilize business as a tool to positively impact the vulnerable. My passion is for young women looking to rise above the circumstances dealt to them in order to provide for themselves, their families, and their communities. Next, I look to find creative and alternative sustainable solutions to resolve the often wasteful and harmful habits of the event production industry. We hire locally to support small economies, implement the best sustainable practices possible for each event, and donate to a charity of the client's choice to improve our societies as much as possible.
