KD Floral & Events' owner and head designer. She started out as a self-taught florist (with much of trial and error), then moved on to workshops and classes to expand her skills. She is a Licensed Retail Florist who mostly serves Southwest Louisiana, but also serves the neighboring areas. She enjoys a good challenge, especially when it involves installations and one-of-a-kind statement floral arrangements. Kourtney takes pride in working one-on-one with each customer to develop a one-of-a-kind design that perfectly complements the bride's vision. Kourtney is either at work as a Critical Care Nurse or spending time with her husband, Josh, and their dog, Lena, when she isn't meeting with brides or arranging one-of-a-kind arrangements. Kourtney also enjoys spending time with her friends while sipping margaritas and going on trips with her husband. KD Floral & Events specializes in local and long-distance wedding and event blooms. KD Floral began by chance, as a hobby aiding with florals and décor for friends and family's weddings and small parties. A love and enthusiasm for florals has evolved and become a fundamental part of daily life as a result of those occurrences. Kourtney is a huge fan of greenery, color, and details, and she feels that every design should be reevaluated several times before being sent out. Kourtney was a bride herself in 2018, so she knows the stress and desire for uniqueness that every bride experiences during the planning process. Her objective is to alleviate the tension and accentuate the uniqueness in order to fulfill every bride's floral fantasies.
