About Lisa's Creperie and Cafe
The first Lisa's Crêperie opened its doors in May 2017. Her love of French cuisine, and especially Crêpes, began when she was a young child. Lisa was raised in the French island of Corsica after being born in Nice, where she first discovered how to create crêpes. Her family has used her original recipe for many years. Lisa moved to the US in 1997, finished her education there, and then joined the US Navy as a helicopter mechanic stationed in San Diego, California. Every chance she got, Lisa would try to recreate her youth by eating crepes, but they were never as good as authentic French crepes. On sporadic Friday mornings while stationed in San Diego, Lisa would bake French crepes to help earn money for her Squadrons Christmas Party financing. All the officers and soldiers lined up at the entrance to grab a taste as it became an instant hit. The mouthwatering aroma coming from across the street was simply impossible to resist! After leaving the Navy, Lisa took part in a French Pop-up in Princeton, New Jersey, and the idea for Lisa's Crêperie was born. When Lisa and her family moved to Atlanta, Georgia, she started selling her delectable French crepes at private parties, festivals, the Peachtree City Farmers Market, and filming locations close to Atlanta. Two years later, she founded Lisa's Crêperie & Café in her first shop at 48 Main St. in Senoia, Georgia.
