Mad Love Events

Cindy Founder & Lead Planner Cindy earned a bachelor's degree from UCLA and worked for a number of companies before discovering her passion for wedding and event planning while interning for another firm. In 2011, she created and started Mad Love Events! She adores all of the small things that go into event planning, and she especially enjoys meeting and collaborating with new people, whether they are couples or industry professionals. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family (including her furbaby, Michonne, who was named after an incredible comic/TV show character), as well as traveling and eating (who doesn't?). She'd be urging the Food Network to team her up with Guy Fieri on his Triple D adventures if she wasn't already doing what she loves. She adores "First Looks" between couples. It's such a wonderful moment to witness, and they still have that element of surprise when they see each other on their wedding day for the first time. When couples have a "First Look," they are much more calm and get to spend more time together. Also, while not many couples do this, it's fantastic when they include a game or two during their reception. It's a terrific way to break the ice with guests and get them loose before the dance floor opens! Claire Event Designer & Lead Planner Claire met Cindy during her graduate internship at the University of Southern California, and the two discovered that they shared a passion for planning, and the rest is history! Being a planner is the ideal profession for her since she enjoys structure, the creative process, and all the minor details. She enjoys spending hours at the flower market, has a not-so-secret passion for eating and experimenting with different dishes and recipes, and loves going on adventures in Big Bear with her baby girl, husband, and long-haired Dachshund, Roper!
