We’re Michael & Jennifer — the husband-and-wife duo behind The Millers Photography. With over 20 years of experience each, we’ve photographed hundreds of celebrations from Michigan to destinations worldwide. Our style blends cinematic artistry with true-to-life color, capturing weddings that feel bold, emotional, and unapologetically you. Unlike many studios, you’ll never get a lead photographer with a second shooter — you’ll always have two skilled lead photographers with unique perspectives. Michael brings the hype and humor, wrangling rowdy bridal parties and lighting up dance floors, while Jennifer brings calm precision, detail focus, and timeline mastery. Together, we create an experience that is both fun and seamless, so you can stay present in your day. From epic portraits to candid in-between moments, we document your story with care, inclusivity, and personality. - Are engagement shoots included in any of your packages?
- Yes! Engagement sessions are included with every wedding package as a complimentary gift. They're a fun, no-pressure way to get comfortable in front of the camera—but totally optional if it's not your vibe!
- Will you bring an assistant as a supporting photographer?
- Because we want to make sure every couple gets all the images they want and don't miss a special moment we always include lead two photographers, sometimes for larger weddings we even bring an additional assistant at no extra cost to you.
- Will you edit and color correct my photos?
- During the image reveal and ordering session all images shown will be color-corrected and completed basic editing on your images. Any of these items that are purchased for a product will be reviewed for any additional retouching as discussed at the ordering time, at no extra cost.
- How would you describe your event photography style?
- Our style is a balance of cinematic storytelling in a photojournalistic style with a blend of prompted "posed" portraits. All of our images in post process are edited to be true-to-life, timeless color.
- What is your approach to working with clients?
- We love our clients! We have various touchpoints along the journey to get to know them from initial consultation, engagement session, and timeline planning meeting. We also have a client portal where all the important information is stored and communicate both via text and email.
