Modern Kicks is a Hudson Valley wedding planner and event design company based in Kingston, New York. Bethany Pickard, owner and lead planner, brings over a decade of event planning expertise, and a sincere love for the design and execution of thoughtful, creative experiences to each event. She formally launched her events career in 2011, honing her skills in catering and venue management before founding Modern Kicks in 2014. During her career, Bethany has planned over 100 weddings ranging from 20-500 guests and produced for brands like Facebook, Converse, Squarespace, Shopbop and InBev. She has produced numerous music & community events in Boston, Brooklyn and beyond.
