Our Personal Narrative I've always had a thing for anything crafty and rustic, so this is no surprise. The decision was made by several members of my family to get married and have a rustic wedding, which prompted me to begin looking for rustic décor. Due to the fact that I was having such difficulty finding rustic decor in the Fredericksburg area, I began collecting pieces to fill the void. Nance's Rustic Rentals was born as a result of this experience! During my first year in business, I set a goal of doing ten weddings, and I ended up doing approximately 15 of them. You can imagine my glee when I found out! I received two VAWE awards: one for best new business and another for Best Wedding Decor. God has blessed me with a wonderful husband, a wonderful son, and a family that encourages and supports me in everything I do. There have also been many new friends in this industry who have been truly amazing and inspiring to me.
