From there his journey progressed to working a dozen vintages around the world, living for many years in London learning about the commercial side of the industry, and holding several sales and managerial roles in Europe, Asia, Australia and the USA. In wine buying positions, Nick selected fine wines on super yachts in the Mediterranean and Caribbean, worked as part of the team at Harrods, for an importer in Hong Kong and also in Bali, Indonesia. Nick most currently has worked with Gordon Ramsay to produce Gordon’s Signature Californian Wine Selection for his restaurants worldwide. A certified Diploma Educator for the WSET, current Senior Judge at the International Wine Challenge and a former tasting co-ordinator for Decanter, Nick currently divides his time between creating private label ranges for clients in Europe and the US, consulting to restaurants in Southern California where he currently resides, and hosting wine boot camps in France, Italy and Australia several times a year. The rest of the time, Nick can be found surfing, shucking oysters and travelling to new places. Now, an expert and esteemed judge all over the world, Nick wants to share his knowledge with wine enthusiasts everywhere. Nick’s goal is to educate those who want to know, so the wine industry is less daunting, more accessible, and can be enjoyed by all, no matter what your current level of understanding is.
