Pasquale Esposito

An insatiable desire to explore new music, meet new people, and live life to the fullest. PASQUALE ESPOSITO is an Italian actor who was born and raised in Naples. In 1998, he won the Green Card Lottery and immigrated to the United States. He studied music at San Jose State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree and was named a notable alumnus in 2009. He is a multi-platinum recording artist known for his pop-opera style of song delivery. With his first musical revue, Naples, Esposito recorded nine records and began touring abroad. In 2005, Amore was released. Following that, he went on tour with his original compositions CDs, A Brand New Me (2009) and Il Tempo (2011). In June 2015, Esposito made his San Francisco Opera debut in the world premiere of Marco Tutino's Two Women (an opera version of the 1960s film La Ciociara - featuring Sophia Loren, whom he had the honor of sharing the stage with during her recent US tour). The New York Times hailed Esposito's performance of Ragazzo del Popolo as "airy charm," while the San Francisco Chronicle described him as "a captivating and dulcet-toned singer." In the spring of 2012, Esposito founded Notable Music and Arts Organization, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit charitable organization dedicated to music education. The nonprofit organization teaches music to impoverished youngsters in the San Francisco Bay Area and creates educational content for public television. Esposito teaches Master Classes in vocal technique at major institutions and colleges across the country, as well as providing private coaching at his studio in San Jose, California.
