Main Street in Suffield, CT, is brimming with fresh plants, unique flowers, and seasonal gifts from across the world throughout the main holidays and throughout the year. 175 S. Main Street in Suffield, CT was a neighborhood grocery and butcher business in the early 1920s. Paula and Tamara, sister combo, fell in love with the room many years later and refurbished every square inch of the inside. They meticulously prepped the land to house Pentimento, their dream shop. 175 S. Main quickly became a well-known boutique in town as they filled it with flowers, plants, and unique goods from their global trips. Stop in to see how the Pentimento method is still alive and well, despite the fact that it is now under new ownership, directed by Sarah Parlos. At the Boston & New York Market, our flowers are still hand-picked. During peak season, local growers provide us with the nicest blooms, and it's not uncommon to find one of our designers cutting odd wild flowers or branches by the side of the road. Pentimento's well-known French-inspired and artistic aesthetic is what we gravitate towards on a regular basis.
