When Rita and her mother, Maria, opened a restaurant in Chelsea in 1959 with an open concept kitchen (a novel concept at the time), they had no idea it would grow into one of New England's largest and most trusted hospitality groups, serving everyone from brides and grooms to administrators, business owners, and flight attendants in Boston and throughout New England. Rita's Hospitality Group is now one of New England's largest and most trusted private catering organizations, providing hospitality services to the region's top businesses, schools, hospitals, and even flight chartering companies—but we've never lost sight of what made our first restaurant so special: creating unrivaled meals from time-tested family recipes.
