Even though Kelly Jones, the owner of Roan, had only recently been married, it seemed as like she had to adhere to certain customs and it wasn't something anyone had ever told her she didn't have to. With her own company now, she advises taking the risk. There are no boundaries. The skilled staff at Roan wants to take the time to get to know you and create an event that is seamless and represents your narrative and personality. Inside of Roan you can find our team with degrees in management from the fields of mass communication, education, business, hospitality, and tourism. Together, the members of our team have over two decades of event planning and management experience. As Vanilla Ice famously said, “If there was a problem, Yo, I’ll solve it! Check out the hook while my DJ revolves it.” If her tomboy self could see her now planning events… what happened to the WNBA? Actually, the goal was to become the first female player in the NBA. What a romantic! Kelly earned a degree in English and mass media from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She used her degree to work as a local television producer and reporter, a job she now does part-time. She can also be found selling and flipping houses. She resides with Boomer, a Saint Bernard, and her husband, Jordan. You can find her working, yes, constantly working, when she isn't flipping, designing, selling, or planning.
