Sabor

Sabor takes its inspiration from Venustiano Carranza, a little Mexican Puebla. Connor and Rahul, the company's founders, discovered a little eatery in the picturesque village during a recent trip to Mexico. They opted to order a couple items from the menu because they didn't know what to anticipate in terms of food. They had come across the most delectable and distinctive Latin cuisine, much to their amazement. Sabor was inspired to embark on their own culinary adventure as a result of this unexpected vacation. They discovered that her son, Chef Guillermo Cruz, was living in Chicago and shared the same desire of sharing the true Mexican flavor he had grown up with to the rest of the globe after starting up a conversation with a restaurant employee. Chef Guillermo Cruz has over 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry, including 10 years as a head chef. Sabor sets themselves aside from other catering options by offering a delectable array of Tacos, Tapas, Barbeque, and Deli Sandwiches. Some of his recipes have also been featured on the Mexican version of Masterchef. Guillermo promises that each bite will have an extravagant "Sabor," or "taste" in English. Sabor began by delivering its delectable cuisine to the corporate sector when it was created. They've now grown to include different types of meals and events, such as weddings, sporting events, private dinners, and more. Sabor's headquarters are in Lisle, Illinois. With 10+ years of combined restaurant and catering expertise, as well as a business background, owners Connor Allen and Rahul Bhatia provide a unique perspective to the catering sector. Connor and Rahul both earned bachelor's degrees in business administration from Illinois Wesleyan University and Augustana College, respectively.
