Signed Sealed Delivered Events

The founder of Signed Sealed Delivered Events is me, Ashlee! This tiny dream first entered my mind in 2012, and thanks to some gentle prodding from some very significant individuals (such as my mother and my good friend Shell), I registered SSD as a business with the State of Illinois! We spent months developing the logo that I had in mind: the ideal red wax seal, typewriter font, and "Jane Austen" font. What font did Jane Austen use? I was unaware of this information as well, but after looking at what appeared to be thousands, I learned that the font is P22 Cezanne regular. Personally, I believe my name was a better fit, but maybe in my next life I can name fonts and nail polishes. The process of naming this vision really took the longest. As Signed Sealed Delivered Events is such a long name, we frequently get asked why. I know, correct? Particularly considering that we only recently shortened the domain to SSD. Well, let me explain what happened. I was visiting my mother on a Saturday night off, which were rare & far between at the time, three months into this brand development. You were correct if you assumed we were watching the Hallmark Channel! My mother was crocheting as Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton performed on stage in the movie Joyful Noise, and I was working on some copywriting. We both glanced at each other and exclaimed, "That's it," as soon as they began singing Signed, Sealed, Delivered. Before the credits rolled, I bought the domain. SSD was created as a result of the Queen and the Queen of Country. You can express gratitude afterwards. So, 9 months after quitting my full-time job in the hotel sales industry, here we are, surviving on a prayer and a tiny amount of funds. The little SSD dream developed as time went on! I came across women who wanted a piece of the wedding planning action; they were addicted to both love and logistics! It's the coolest job ever, so I couldn't really blame them. We gradually increased the number of weddings, the amount of love, and the magic on the calendar. Each and every one of these women, who I adore, adds something special to our crew. We are passionate about making the planning process simple and enjoyable because we think we only get one chance to make your special day the finest one ever. Because once you work for SSD, you become family, our extended family also expands yearly. We can't help it and wouldn't have it any other way—just ask any of our previous clients!
