Events and weddings have always been Cristina's passion. She spent more than a year working at a five-star resort in Southern California after receiving her bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts. She was immediately drawn to the romance of weddings. She had to trust her instincts and follow her desire to pursue a career in the wedding industry after returning to Mexico and working there for several more years. Cristina has been qualified as a Meeting & Events Catering Professional by The International School of Hospitality in Las Vegas. After she returned to the United States and started her new business in Las Vegas, the growing city for weddings, she was later given a scholarship to become a wedding coordinator and designer by TISOH. She has earned the prestigious CGSP (Certified Guest Service Professional) credential, which qualifies her to offer each couple and creative partner outstanding guest services. Several couples from abroad and out of state turned to her for advice to organize the best destination wedding possible. She frequently collaborates with the area's best creative teams and venues as the owner and chief planner of Simply Weddings, the premier wedding brand in Las Vegas. Sructure is crucial for her; she is one of the few who appreciates excel spreadsheets. She uses her three languages to her advantage as she and her family tour the globe with her husband Pedro, son Noah, and infant Emma.

- How soon should I hire a wedding planner?
- Ideally, we’d love to be the very first “to-do” on your list, so that you can benefit from our expertise from the onset.
- What would happen if we face COVID-19 restrictions for my wedding day?
- We understand restrictions and guidelines are constantly changing. We stay up do date with our local authorities’ mandates and are constantly communicating with venues and creative partners to have a solid plan.
- How would we work together if I live out of town?
- We work with quite a few out-of-town couples and find that much can be accomplished via email, phone calls and video calls. In some instances, our couples will set up a trip prior to the big day to make appointments with several of their vendors, as well as do a venue tour.
- What if I’ve done some of the planning already?
- Engaged couples come to as during different stages in the planning process so we offer a number of packages ranging from day of coordination to partial planning services. We also have an hourly rate for couples that would like to further customize their services.
- My site has a dedicated coordinator. Why would I need a planner in addition?
- An on site coordinator at a venue can be a wonderful resource for anything you may need pertaining to the property itself. If you are seeking guidance above and beyond those basics, then a wedding planner is the perfect solution.
