Southern Standard Events

We are a two-sister event design, rental, planning, and coordination company (in-law). Though we've always enjoyed throwing parties, we've only recently joined forces to do so professionally. Weddings, corporate gatherings, birthday parties, showers, and anniversaries are just a few examples. You name it, and we'll make it happen! Let us begin by introducing ourselves: I'm Lindsey Hornsby, the team's brunette. On weekdays, I work as a professional marriage counselor, and on weekends, I work as an event coordinator. How did I come to be so fortunate to never have to "work"? There's something about the overall design of marriage (not just weddings) that I adore. It's a fantastic thing. Speaking of great, I am married to a really attractive and exceptionally fabulous man. We live out in the country, at the laces of Louisiana's gorgeous, culturally rich "boot." Sha, we eat well! In general, I adore the life I've been given, and I look forward to each new day as an opportunity to accomplish the things I enjoy while also helping others. I’m Brandy Hornsby, Lin’s sis-in-law, neighbor, and business partner. I have three great children, a wonderful husband of more than 20 years, and a small black puppy named Rosie who has been my constant companion for the past 13 years. Design is my favorite among all the things I like and enjoy. I adore all forms of design! Whether I'm decorating my home (or someone else's), arranging a beautiful party, or looking for the right gift, I can't help myself. Beautiful surroundings and wonderful connections, in my opinion, promote harmony, balance, and happiness. However, keeping the peace in a house full of teenagers can be difficult! That's all there is to it. The Southern Standard Girls are a group of women that live in the South. It's great to finally meet you.
