Tanis J Events in Charleston, South Carolina, offers the highest quality draping to alter your wedding or event. Backdrops, ceiling draping, and tent draping are all options. We can offer uplighting in a range of colors to complement your draping. The Tanis J Events Distinction is as follows: - We are a professional and insured draping design agency that includes a site visit and design consultation to assure the highest quality draping. - We are a small organization, and you will work directly with the proprietor throughout the process. - The Institute of Wedding and Event Design has awarded us a draping certificate (IWED) - We will schedule a maximum of two drape installations per day to ensure that we have enough time in case of scheduling changes. - We keep our reusable fabrics on hand to save lead times and allow clients to preview fabrics, ties, and decorations ahead of time. - To personalize your draping, we provide a selection of ties and ornaments. - We are environmentally conscientious and reuse all draping fabrics that have been precut and hemmed. Some businesses purchase fabric rolls, cut them, and then discard their tent and ceiling fabrics. - We'll need your date, wedding or event venue, and the type of drape you're looking for in order to submit a price. We welcome any draping photographs you have, whether they are inspirational or photos of the exact draping you want. Tanis J Events uses sheer voile fabric "drapes" that have been pre-cut. We can reuse the textiles because they are pre-cut and hemmed, rather than cutting them from bolts of fabric on site and then having to throw them away after the wedding or event. Minimum draping for low season is $500; minimum drapery for high season is $1000; minimum draping for tents is $1500; and minimum draping for out of town is $1500. Draping minimums do not include travel or delivery charges. For local Charleston and Low country wedding/event drape requests, a complimentary site visit is offered. A fee may be charged for out-of-town draping that necessitates a site visit. To hold the event or wedding date, all drapery requires a 50% fee at contract execution.
