Patrick and Tania Smith, the owners, have a combined fifty years of expertise in fine dining restaurant and club management. Tejano Brothers was founded to fulfill their desire of producing a range of cuisines and serving them with great attention to detail. Their combined knowledge results in dishes that are both inventive and savory, as well as beautifully presented. While managing the following outstanding businesses, Patrick and Tania have had the opportunity to experience a wide array of cooking styles, techniques, and presentations, from Smoked Beef Tenderloin to Pasilla Grilled Gulf Shrimp to Exotic Beluga Caviar: Their grandma, Imo Smith, was one of Refugio County's best cooks. At the Refugio County Fair, she received numerous blue medals for her entries. Over the years, they learned a lot about culinary style from watching her in the kitchen. One of the most essential lessons mother instilled in me was to never cut corners when it came to ingredients. She would remark, "Use the best and you can't go wrong."
