Tenn Hens is a boutique graphic design business based in Nashville, founded by friends Bonnie and Currier in 2005. They specialize in one-of-a-kind invitation design, branding, print design, and everything in between, and are inspired by watercolor painting, antique typography, and vivid patterns. They are a one-of-a-kind talent with a passion for all things creative, thanks to their artistic detail and professional expertise. We're a graphic design firm that focuses on one-of-a-kind paper items, branding, and marketing materials. Our aesthetic style and history in advertising work together to create timeless, insightful products. Custom invitations for milestone anniversaries that contain our hand-drawn artwork are one of the niches we've carved out. Watercolors, lovely paper, vintage mail, and all the little details that make a wonderful present are all things we adore. We worked together at a local ad agency for several years and became close friends. Surprisingly, we learned that our families were also excellent friends, indicating that we were destined to form a strong creative alliance. Everything was written in the stars! Soon after, we were dreaming about ideas for our own shop, and in 2005, we took the plunge. We set up shop in a cramped spare room, complete with laptops and new business cards, and began seeking for clients. We had no idea that Tenn Hens Design would still be operating strong and gratifying our artistic loves after all these years. We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to enjoy what we do on a daily basis. Currier, on her style: “I think my artwork is a reflection of my personality and things that make me happy… anything joyful and colorful. My style is whimsical, mixed with clean lines.” Bonnie, on her inspiration: “All over the place - in nature, in photographs, in travel. I also love textiles and interiors. And we’re always looking in old books and vintage packaging that used great typography.”
